Green all over

Este é o último trabalho que fiz nas aulas do Curso de Aguarelas. Provavelmente já só terei tempo de fazer mais outro, porque apenas temos mais quatro aulas até ao final do curso. Tenho a certeza que esta aguarela não vos vai parecer nada de especial, mas a verdade é que foi a mais difícil que fiz até hoje. Praticamente só tem tons de verde, e eu sempre achei as árvores muito difíceis de pintar. Se não tivesse tido o apoio do professor, provavelmente tê-la-ia deixado a meio. Tem muitas falhas - como, por ex., demasiadas sobreposições - mas ainda assim, fiquei contente por ter conseguido acabá-la. Mas ainda mais contente estou, por ser este o vale que fica logo abaixo da minha casa...

This is the last watercolour I painted in my classes. I'll probably just make one more, for there are only four more classes to go. I'm sure this doesn't look like anything special to you, but it was surely the most difficult watercolour I've done, ever! There's green everywhere, and I've always found trees very difficult to handle. If it wasn't for my teacher's support, I would have given up halfway through it. It has lots of flaws - like too much layering, for instance - but still, I'm happy I was able to do it. But I'm even more happy to have this valley just below my house...
