I'm back!

Foram duas semanas e meia sem internet em casa e tenho muito que pôr em dia! Apesar de ser um grande aborrecimento, tenho que confessar que há algumas vantagens em se ficar “desligado”, tais como conseguir concentrar-me mais no trabalho ou passar uma maior parte do meu tempo livre a ler, fazer trabalhos manuais ou pintar. Outra coisa boa é, no regresso, encontrar surpresas agradáveis como a notícia de que o meu blog ganhou um Prémio Inspiração! Obrigada Designing Fairy, sinto-me lisonjeada! E como ganhadora do prémio, posso nomear outros cinco blogues que “inspiram os outros através das suas palavras e acções. Com uma atitude positiva e um espírito optimista, estes bloggers tornam a blogosfera um sítio melhor e encorajam os outros a fazer o mesmo”. Evidentemente, a Designing Fairy viria no topo da lista, mas como ela já ganhou um, vou listar outros cinco:

• Time and a Word é um sítio lindo onde se encontram fotografias fantásticas e palavras que nos inspiram
• Chocolate à Chuva é a casa de alguns dos melhores trabalhos manuais que já vi, mas tem muito mais do que isso
• Inspire Me Thursday é uma dose semanal de criatividade, com desafios verdadeiramente inspiradores nos quais qualquer um pode participar
• Photowanabe é outra grande combinação de excelentes fotografias e palavras

• Penelope Illustration é sobre ilustração de grande qualidade e a vida que está por trás dela

E estes são os sítios onde vou já de seguida, para ver o que se tem passado durante todo este tempo. Vão lá e visitem-nos também, verão que não se arrependem (depois de já ter escrito este post, fui visitar o Time and a Word e descobri que está a fechar porque o seu autor, Icarus, está a atravessar uma fase difícil. Mais uma razão para irmos lá todos deixar uma palavra de ânimo).

It's been two weeks and a half without internet at home and do I have heavy catching up to do! Although it is a real nuisance, I have to confess there are some advantages on being logged out, such as being able to better concentrate on my work, or spending more of my free time reading, crafting and painting. Another good thing is coming back to great surprises like finding out that my art journal was granted an Inspirational Award! Thank you, Designing Fairy, I am so honoured! Now, as an award winner, I can nominate five other blogs that “inspire others through their words and actions. With a positive attitude, and an uplifting spirit these bloggers make the blogosphere a better place, and encourage others to do the same. Obviously, Designing Fairy would be on top of the list, but since she already won one, I'll list another five:

• Time and a Word is a beautiful place where you'll find amazing photographs and inspiring words
• Chocolate à Chuva hosts some of the greatest crafts I've seen and a lot more
• Inspire Me Thursday is a weekly dose of creativity with truly inspiring challenges you can participate in if you feel inclined to

And these are the places where I'm going right away, to see what's been going on all this time. Go there and visit them too, I'm sure you will not regret it (after finishing this post, I went to visit Time and a Word to find out it is closing down. It's owner, Icarus, is going through a tough phase in his life, so there's one more reason to go there and leave a word of encouragement).
