Editado para acrescentar que se por um lado me sinto aliviada por ter chegado ao fim, por outro tenho uma certa pena, porque foi um trabalho que gostei muito de fazer!

Here's the last illustration for the biological pools book, completed a few days ago. It shows in detail the flowers and leaves of the water plant depicted in a previous post. The colour part was rendered in watercolours and coloured pencils, the rest in graphite.Edited to add that if on one hand I feel kind of relieved this is finally over, on the other hand I feel sort of sad, for I really enjoyed doing this work!
está muito bonito, como sempre. gosto desta técnica, com parte do desenho só em contorno.
ReplyDeletePequete, what a beautiful art journal! I am very drawn to your art. Thanks you so much for the lovely comments on my blog! They were inspiring!
ReplyDeleteYour selective addition of color is great. It really draws my attention to the different areas of the plant in an order that seems very intentional.
ReplyDeleteHi! Just found your blog from the EDM Yahoo Group. Love your work! Looking forward to seeing more of your blog. :)
ReplyDeleteI love the two mediums you worked with here..the bright contrasts between the color and the graphite...wonderful illustration.

Congratulations on completing your illustrations. I can imagine that it is a bittersweet feeling. Its almost the way i feel about selling our home. So much work and effort and someone else will reap the benefits, but a new phase of life is coming and a great new home I hope.
